Hammondcare taps Valtatech to automate Source to Pay system
  • VALTATECH TO IMPLEMENT END TO END AUTOMATED SOURCE TO PAY (S2P) SYSTEM, AS PART OF COUPA BUSINESS SPEND MANAGEMENT IMPLEMENTATION
  • NATIONAL AGED CARE PROVIDER TO ROLL-OUT BEST PRACTISE PROCUREMENT PROCESS ACROSS THE ORGANISATION AND CONTROL SPEND VIA SINGLE, UNIFIED PLATFORM

Melbourne, 18 September, 2020 – National aged care provider HammondCare has chosen financial process automation experts, Valta Technology Group (Valtatech), to manage its companywide Coupa Business Spend Management technology implementation. The Sydney-headquartered registered charity is set to replace its existing procure to pay (P2P) system, which is no longer fit-for-purpose for its 4000 staff, many of whom work as in-home care providers, within the next six months.

Valtatech will help HammondCare to realise a full end to end, automated S2P process. Giving the charity the tools to increase automation and ensure compliance, while driving cost savings and achieving better spend visibility and management across its back-office function. Controlling spend via a single, unified platform. Valtatech will also be implementing its own e-Invoicing solution, which will enable paperless e-Invoicing adoption, particularly among Hammondcare’s customers and partners, who traditionally submit handwritten or scanned PDF invoices. Enabling more spend to be conducted digitally via purchase orders. Valtatech will also be deploying solutions that enable:

  • Purchasing catalogue capability to ensure ease of use and capability to highlight preferred vendors
  • Requisitioning workflow configured for delegation of authority
  • Automating the receipt of invoices via e-Invoicing / PDF invoicing
  • Providing workflows for spend exception/approval management
  • Offering the ability to host and maintain a contract archive and link those contracts into purchase requisition, providing an ability to benchmark business change and increase in process maturity
  • Ensuring continuous, evidence based and measurable improvement of overall source to pay processes

Aaron Passfield, HammondCare Head of Procurement, says: “Valtatech’s unique offer and extensive procure and source to pay and digital transformation experience, and Coupa’s overarching spend management solution set, are ideally suited to the challenges our organisation faces today. We need to regain control over our procurement, sourcing and invoicing processes, as we continue to grow as an organisation, against a backdrop of ongoing budgetary pressures, changing technology and customer demands. We remain laser-focused on delivering more sustainable services and measurable value for our customers, partners and donors.”

Jussi Karjalainen, CEO of Valtatech, comments: “The team and I pride ourselves on putting customers success at the heart of everything we do. Ensuring that we are connecting technology and processes enable sustainable long-term success. Bringing our complementary expertise and services to Coupa’s technology to enable fantastic organisations, like Hammondcare, and other businesses, to successfully transform their Source to Pay operations and achieve real value.”
