Valta Technology Group (Valtatech) expands its business in Malaysia

Valtatech invests to expand its business to Malaysia, acquires Proworks Innovation e-Invoicing consulting unit 

Acquisition demonstrates Valtatech’s confidence in Malaysian National e-Invoicing Initiative and LHDN clearance whilst further expanding their teams locally in Malaysia. 

Melbourne, Victoria​,​ 20 February 2024 — Financial process automation experts and certified Peppol e-invoicing Access Point providers for Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Japan Valta Technology Group (Valtatech), today announced it is making an investment to acquire Proworks Innovation e-Invoicing consulting and compliance advisory services business unit. Valtatech acquires the services business along its senior consultant resources. Valtatech is already a pilot provider with MDEC and LHDN in supporting the growth of e-Invoicing, with its Peppol and CaaS (Compliance as a Service) offering, representing the core offering of Valtatech to assist Malaysian companies to meet their tax reporting and compliance together with business digitalisation ahead of the upcoming mandates. 

This acquisition strengthens Valtatech’s local presence in Malaysia.
